Schenectady County SummerNight is a FREE event featuring a variety of family-friendly entertainers and performances presented at various locations throughout Downtown Schenectady. SummerNight annually draws more than 20,000 visitors throughout the day to downtown Schenectady.
If you wish to be a vendor please complete the vendor application below. Schenectady County reserves the right to amend/reject any application in an effort to provide a variety of products and activities for our visitors. If accepted, payment will be required in full by June 21, 2019 to secure booth space on the day of the event. Non-profit organizations will be required to provide proof of non-profit status. Food and craft vendors will be required to provide a copy of your valid 2019 NYS Sales Tax Certificate of Authority. Food vendors will be required to provide a Certificate of General Liability Insurance (minimum $1,000,000 per occurrence) listing both Schenectady County and the City of Schenectady as additional insured. ALL VENDORS will be required to provide their own power (if needed).
Please review the Terms of Application before submitting your application. Note: Due to concerns by law enforcement and event staff over past year's clean-up and ability to re-open State Street, NO SALES ARE PERMITTED AFTER 9:30PM. ALL VENDORS MUST BE OFF STREET BY 11:00PM – THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED BY POLICE AND EVENT STAFF. Any vendor who is not closed and off of State Street by 11:00PM will not be invited back to participate in SummerNight 2020 (no exceptions).
