Schenectady County Board of Elections: St. George's Episcopal Church Open for Voting on Election Day
The Schenectady County Board of Elections is reminding residents that the Schenectady Election District 2 polling location at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 30 N. Ferry Street, will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5.
With road construction currently being done in the area, the Board of Elections worked with the City of Schenectady to guarantee voters in the Stockade would have access to their regular polling location, including access to the parking lot and Green Street from Erie Boulevard.
“We’d like to thank the City of Schenectady for working with us on access issues at this polling site,” said Board of Elections Commissioners Amy Hild and Darlene Harris. “And the Stockade Association has been invaluable in getting the word out to local residents.”
All County polling locations will be open from 6am to 9pm on Election Day. For more information about the 2019 general election, including sample ballots, early voting and a complete list of polling locations, visit https://www.schenectadycounty.com/boe.
