Schenectady County Urges Residents to Prepare for Extreme Cold Temperatures. Shelters are Available for those in Need.

Schenectady County is warning Schenectady County residents to take precautions during the coming days of artic-like temperatures and oppressive wind chills with temperatures diving below zero with double digit wind chills Friday night and Saturday.  During this blast of arctic cold, residents are encouraged to stay indoors, and if you have to go out, bundle up. Residents are advised to check on their neighbors, friends, and relatives.

The Bethesda House shelter welcomes all individuals without restrictions or qualifications, providing beds, shower opportunities, supper and breakfast for adult men and women.
