Schenectady County State of Emergency and Travel Ban Lifted
The County of Schenectady State of Emergency due to a major winter storm will be lifted at 5am on Wednesday morning, March 15, 2017. The travel ban will also end at that time.
Until the ban ends at 5am, travel on all roads and highways within Schenectady County is limited to ESSENTIAL TRAFFIC ONLY. This will allow the state, county, city, towns, and villages to maintain roads for emergency response vehicles and to plow the roads as safely and quickly as possible.
