Pedal-Paddle-Run is designed to be a day of wellness and community-building, bringing the Schenectady County community together for a day of fun, fitness, and celebration. Businesses, not-for-profits, community groups, fitness club, and youth organizations are invited to create teams to participate against one another in the spirit of friendly competition!

Race will be run in the order listed. Click each link for a map of the course.

- Bike course - approx. 6.8 mi on roads in the Town of Glenville and the Village of Scotia
- Run course - 5K (3.1mi) on roads in Village of Scotia
- Paddle course - 2 laps (approx. 1.6mi) around Collins Lake in Scotia

Wanna Race? Ways You Can Register
As a Team
(All-Male, All-Female, Mixed)

4-Person Team: one runs, one bikes, two paddle (canoe or kayak)

3-Person Team: one runs, one bikes, one paddles (kayak recommended)

2-Person Team: one runs, one bikes, both paddle (canoe or kayak - only one boat per team!)

As an Individual

One person does all three events! (kayak recommended, ages 15+ only)

As a Corporate Team

4-, 3-, or 2-person teams of full-time employees from the same company. No age or gender categories

Participants must be at least 12 years of age on the day of the race. Children 12-14 must have parent or guardian accompany them during the race (parent does not need to be registered to accompany their child, but we encourage families to compete as a team!). Children ages 15 or older may compete alone.

The event committee does not handle boat rentals, but there are several local businesses who are able to rent kayaks. Please call to confirm availability and pricing.
